Description

As the bad weather continues here in the mountains I got desperate enough to download some data and work with that to keep from forgetting what I have learned and to learn some more if I could. I want to thank the Moana Project for the data set on the Jellyfish Nebula, IC443. I used the Ha, the OIII, and the RGB datasets and and the master calibration files. I used Blur X, Noise X, and Star X along with my regular workflow in PixInsight. I did not use GHS on this image as I usually would. I wanted to keep the brightness of the nebula down just a bit so the great amount of detail would show well. I used a careful Histogram Transformation stretch. I think that worked for I am happy right now with the way the waves and lines in the nebula look.

Thanks again to the Moana Project.
